The Border Service of the State National Security Committee reports a noticeable increase in the number of foreign citizens entering Kyrgyzstan in 2025.
As a result of efforts to ensure border security, the influx of entrants increased by 18.6% compared to the previous year and by 20% compared to 2023. This confirms the growing interest in Kyrgyzstan as an attractive destination for tourism and business.
The statistics for those entering Kyrgyzstan are as follows:

• 2024 — 17,682,929 people (an increase of 1.2%);
• 2025 — 20,978,965 people (+18.6% compared to 2024).
The increase in the number of arrivals in 2025 is attributed to the development of tourist infrastructure, the expansion of international transport routes, active promotion of the country's cultural and natural resources, as well as an increase in business and investment contacts.
