Recently, in the new building of secondary school No. 43, located in the Ak-Bata residential area, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, held an open meeting with residents of the territories recently annexed to the city.
Residents from such areas as MTF-2, Nur-Kojo, Ak-Bata, Ak-Zhar, Lebedinovka, Alamudun, Lower Ala-Archa, and 305-MAB participated in the meeting, which are now part of the Sverdlovsk administrative district as part of the administrative-territorial reform.
The discussion covered many pressing social and infrastructure issues, including problems with water supply, road conditions, sewage, and a lack of public transport, as reported by the city administration.
According to Ulanbek Beishenbaev, the head of the Transport Department, the new 8-meter buses will only start operating after the road repairs are completed.
The mayor emphasized that until the issues with water supply and sewage are resolved, road repair work will be suspended. He also noted that a special program for the development of new districts has been developed at the instruction of the President, which will last until 2030. Approximately 9 billion soms are planned to be allocated for the implementation of this program, and around 2.5–3 billion soms have already been attracted this year.
Additionally, issues regarding land plots were discussed at the meeting. Junushaliev reported that during the road construction process, the demolition of illegal economic structures and new foundations is planned; however, previously identified illegal residential houses will not be demolished.
The mayor also noted that in the future, the construction of new illegal structures is unacceptable.
As a result of the meeting, the mayor instructed the heads of the relevant services and departments to take specific measures for the prompt and quality resolution of the issues raised, setting deadlines for completion.
