The draft law is being developed as part of efforts to reduce bureaucracy and is intended to organize real estate practices and systematize intermediary relationships in the real estate market.
Among the key aspects of the draft law, the following points can be highlighted:
• mandatory state registration (certification) of realtors, in accordance with established standards of professional activity;
• introduction of a realtor identification card, allowing citizens to verify the status and legitimacy of the intermediary;
• establishment of unified standards for real estate services and standard contracts;
• provision of transparent information about the status, role, and powers of the realtor in the transaction;
• prohibition of double commissions and restriction of misleading advertising for real estate objects;
• establishment of liability for illegal real estate activities and for violations of established requirements.
The draft law also includes tax measures aimed at curbing speculative operations with real estate.
It is expected that the implementation of this document will help create a more organized real estate market, increase citizens' trust, and ensure civilized conditions for the work of honest participants in this sector.
