According to Kyrgyz Hydrometeorology, avalanche-prone areas are located on the following roads:
- 121-138 km of the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and 198-265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- 45-112 km on the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kyya route (Chapchyma pass);
- 0-3 km of the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;
- 55-115 km of the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaykuu route;
- 97-98 km of the Sary-Tash—Daroot-Korgon—Karamyk road;
- 292-305 km of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart route (Dolon pass);
- 1-14 km of the Aral—Min-Kush road;
- 8-21 km on the Aral—Suusamyr route;
- 201-205, 260-290, and 326-249 km of the Balakchy—Kazarmin—Jalal-Abad route (Kok-Art pass);
- 45-90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chon-Ashuu pass).
Drivers passing through avalanche-prone areas are strongly advised to maintain a distance of 500 meters between vehicles.
