The Ministry of Natural Resources conducted scientific research for the protection of the chukar and pheasant in the Kyzyl-Suu gorge.

On March 4, the Ministry of Natural Resources conducted a working trip to the Kyzyl-Suu gorge, located in the Taarilgan-Koktu area, within the territory of the On Bir-Zhilga village in the Chui region.

According to the information from the ministry's press service, during this trip, biotechnical measures were carried out aimed at protecting the chukar and pheasant. As part of scientific parasitological research, sanitary removal of these birds was conducted.

The event was attended by A. Davletbakov, a representative of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as a gamekeeper from the Tokmok interdistrict hunters' society and activists from the civil sector.

“The work was organized on a strictly scientific basis to study the epizootic situation among wild animals and to prevent the spread of infectious diseases,” the official statement indicated.

T. Salikov, head of the Chui regional department, shared the results of the department's work for 2025, presenting key achievements and outlining priority tasks for 2026.

U. Jamynchiev, head of the department of specially protected natural areas and biodiversity, spoke about the biotechnical measures being implemented in accordance with environmental legislation to prevent epizootics among wild animals and birds.
