



Akyil Toktobaev, serving as the Minister of Natural Resources, recently made a working trip to the Osh region. The main focus during the visit was on issues related to biodiversity conservation, ecology, and the development of natural parks. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
During his trip, the minister visited the state natural parks "Kara-Shoro" and "Kulun-Ata," where he familiarized himself with projects being implemented with the support of the World Bank. These initiatives aim to protect ecosystems and improve the ecological situation in the region. In "Kulun-Ata," Toktobaev visited a museum showcasing scientific research and unique exhibits.
The minister emphasized the importance of the work of environmental specialists and instructed to address many issues raised on-site.
Particular attention was paid to inspecting the operations of the coal enrichment plant "Ilon Osh," located in the Uzgen district. The minister reminded of the necessity to comply with environmental standards and safety regulations.
Additionally, together with the akim of the district, Kanybek Apbasov, the minister inspected the construction process of wastewater treatment facilities, which play a key role in improving the sanitary situation and quality of life for the local population.
