This process is accompanied by emissions of toxic substances such as carbon monoxide and arsenic, which negatively affect the health of the population. Mavlyanova cited the experience of Mongolia and other countries where the introduction of smokeless stoves has significantly improved the situation.
The deputy also emphasized that smog can lead to the development of diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, cardiovascular ailments, and in the long term, to cancer. She called for the need to take measures to control the use of stoves and accelerate the process of gasification in the city.
