At the Special Boarding School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children in Bishkek, a donation of 10 Perkins Brailler Classic typewriters was made by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

According to the press service of the Cabinet, during the Prime Minister's visit to this educational institution in September of last year, the need for new typewriters for teaching Braille was expressed.

From the reserve fund of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, over 3 million soms were allocated for the purchase of 20 typewriters. Ten of them have already been handed over to the boarding school in Bishkek, while the remaining 10 will be sent to the Special General Education Boarding School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children in the city of Osh.

As noted by the Cabinet, these typewriters play an important role in the educational process. They provide conditions for systematic and practice-oriented teaching of Braille writing, develop students' skills for independent work, fine motor skills, and concentration, as well as facilitate the work of educators and improve the quality of education. This allows for the implementation of corrective, educational, and social activities as a unified pedagogical system.

During the visit, issues related to the operation of the institution were also discussed.
