Kyrgyzstan and Austria discussed the issue of opening a tourism school at Issyk-Kul
The issue of opening a tourism school at Issyk-Kul has become a topic of discussion between Kyrgyzstan and Austria. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Education.

According to the ministry, a video conference took place, attended by Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and representatives of the Austrian Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as the Federal Ministry of Finance of Austria, including Dorothea Auer and Michael Matiashitz. Specialists from the Klessheim Tourism College and the Austrian Technology Corporation also participated in the discussion.

During the meeting, the parties examined opportunities for cooperation in the field of vocational and technical education, as well as in the tourism sector. Issues of technology transfer, training specialists for railway transport, and the establishment of a tourism school in the Issyk-Kul region were discussed.

Participants in the event also discussed the organization of the educational process in the areas of winter tourism and winter sports, details of phased training and infrastructure development, including potential reconstruction of buildings, as well as the implementation of Austrian teaching methods and best international practices.
