The main goal of this initiative is to simplify migration accounting. Assigning a PIN upon entry through a unified system for accounting external migration will allow:
- to accelerate the migration accounting process by eliminating the need for repeated visits to public service centers to obtain a PIN;
- to ensure data consistency, as the Unified System for Accounting External Migration (ЕСУВМ) automatically records information obtained upon crossing the border;
- to increase the accuracy and timeliness of accounting, since the PIN will be assigned immediately upon identification by the border service;
- to reduce the administrative burden on public service centers;
- to meet modern requirements in the field of digitalization of public services.
It is worth noting that the first digit of the 14-digit PIN for foreign citizens and stateless persons is the number 4.
