At the meeting, it was noted that this draft law is aimed at eliminating internal contradictions and simplifying the process of assigning personal identification numbers to both citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreigners or stateless persons. This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies Nursultan Kubanov.
During the discussion, Deputy Seidbek Atambaev emphasized the need to create mechanisms for correcting technical errors in the assignment of identification numbers. Deputy Santalat Amanova suggested clearly designating the authorized state body responsible for assigning these numbers, highlighting the relevance of the draft law. Deputy Gulsharkan Kultaeva also inquired whether the history of old identification numbers is preserved when changes or corrections are made. Deputy Sovetbek Rustambek uulu raised the issue of the procedure for assigning identification numbers to foreign citizens and stateless persons.
Committee Chair Toktobubu Ashymbaeva also noted the importance of informational integration of databases between various ministries and agencies.
