In Kyrgyzstan, about 150,000 people have received personal identification numbers with errors. This was reported by Ernes Dosaliev, Deputy Director of the state institution "Kyzmat," during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh that deals with science, education, and technology.

During this meeting, a draft law concerning the individual accounting of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic for the purposes of mandatory state social insurance was discussed. The aim of the document is to clarify the procedure for assigning and correcting PINs through the Cabinet of Ministers.

Deputy Gulsharkan Kultaeva raised the issue of how the history of the PIN will be accounted for when it is changed, so that citizens can continue to use their number even after changes are made, and that this process is clearly defined.

In response, Ernes Dosaliev explained that the personal identification number serves as a tool for identifying individuals. All data about citizens is recorded in the system and cannot be completely deleted. He also noted that the errors in the PIN were not the fault of the citizens themselves, and the number change occurs only at the request of the individual.

The deputy added that it is important to ensure the integration of all data so that citizens do not encounter problems when changing their PIN.
