He noted that changes are necessary because the absence of an updated PIN code may hinder citizens from receiving medical assistance and carrying out other important actions. "The law clearly states the grounds for changing the PIN. For example, we recently received a request from a transgender person who changed their gender from male to female. Without an updated PIN code, the person will not be able to perform necessary actions. Amending the law on gender identity issues will take significant time, while the Cabinet's decision allows for a quicker response," he added, emphasizing that the timelines and grounds for changing the PIN are clearly defined and do not violate existing legislation.
