According to Dosaliev, their institution received a request from a transgender individual reporting their gender change.
“This person needs to promptly change their PIN code, as without it, they will not be able to carry out necessary actions. If we follow the current legislation, it will require the introduction of gender requirements, which will take a significant amount of time. The issue of transgender individuals needs to be resolved quickly. The government can, in certain cases, change the procedure for issuing PIN codes, and there are quite a few instances where errors occur in PIN assignment. The main goal of the government is to simplify the lives of citizens,” noted Ernes Dosaliev.
Transgender refers to a person whose gender does not match the one assigned at birth. It is important to understand that this is not about sexual orientation, but about an internal perception of oneself.
According to the World Health Organization, being transgender is not considered a mental disorder and is viewed as one of the features of personality development.
