Deputy Aysarkan Abdibaeva criticized the level of digitalization of government services in Kyrgyzstan during the discussion of the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On State and Municipal Services'" at its first reading.
She raised a question about the current state of the digitalization process of government services. In response, she was informed that 90% of the country's territory is covered by internet connectivity. However, Abdibaeva noted that even in Bishkek, many citizens are unable to fully utilize electronic services and have to spend entire days waiting in line at government institutions.

“If the situation is like this even in the capital, then it is undoubtedly even worse in the regions,” the deputy emphasized. She pointed out the discrepancy between the official information about internet availability and the actual level of digital services provided to the population.

The draft law being discussed proposes changes to the process of providing state and municipal services, including the simplification of procedures and the expansion of the use of electronic formats.
