Kalpaev reminded that the blogger who approached the company with a request to provide services in the state language has been under house arrest for nine months during the court proceedings. "Can the demand from citizens to serve them in the state language be considered a crime?" the deputy questioned.
A representative of the General Prosecutor's Office, Umutkan Konkubaeva, stated that she cannot currently provide a precise answer, as it is necessary to study the documents and determine whether there is a crime committed.
In response, Baktyyar Kalpaev emphasized that the company's position is incorrect. "In our country, laws have been adopted aimed at the development of the Kyrgyz language. The president speaks in the state language at the UN podium, and the head of the GKNB calls on investors to use Kyrgyz. I believe that the company should respect our country and its language, as well as actively contribute to the development of Kyrgyz," he added.
