The initiative of Deputy Baktyyar Kalpaev is aimed at improving conditions for former citizens of Kyrgyzstan who face general migration rules. The proposed amendments to the Law "On External Migration" have already been posted on the website of the Jogorku Kenesh for public discussion.

Kalpaev emphasizes that the current system regulating the entry and stay of foreign citizens, including those who were previously citizens of Kyrgyzstan, does not take individual circumstances into account and creates unnecessary complications by requiring constant exit from the country.

In this regard, the deputy proposes to exclude the application of general norms to this category of citizens, which would simplify their situation.

Also, the draft amendments stipulate that former citizens will be able to freely enter, exit, transit, and stay in the territory of Kyrgyzstan without a visa and without time limits, provided they comply with migration legislation and the rules established by the Cabinet of Ministers.
