In the new version of the document, the periods during which foreigners can stay in the country are clearly specified, depending on their nationality and reasons for entry. Foreigners who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a visa or based on a residence permit may remain in the country until the expiration of these documents.
Citizens of countries that are part of the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia) have the right to stay in Kyrgyzstan without additional visa formalities for up to 90 days within each 180-day period from the moment of crossing the border.
For foreign citizens from other countries listed in the annex to the new regulation, a visa-free regime is established for a period of up to 30 days within each 60 days, unless otherwise provided by international agreements. Citizens of Uzbekistan can stay without a visa for up to 60 days within a 120-day period.

Special conditions apply to citizens of Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Mongolia, who are allowed to stay in Kyrgyzstan without a visa for up to 90 days within each 180-day period.
Citizens of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain will be able to stay in Kyrgyzstan without a visa for up to 180 days within each 360-day period, unless otherwise established by international treaties.
Additionally, the new regulation introduces a unilateral visa-free regime for holders of United Nations Laissez-Passer passports for a period of up to 60 days. One item has also been removed from the list of countries specified in the annex to the document.

These changes will come into effect from the moment of their official publication.
