At the parliamentary meeting, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev expressed concern about the youth's perspective, who believe that the requirement for lengthy training — from 10 to 12 months — to obtain a driver's license is unreasonable.

He noted: "I share this opinion. For example, in Japan, training takes only three months, and in the USA and Georgia — even less. If we continue to insist on such prolonged training, young people will be forced to go to neighboring countries to obtain their licenses, which will negatively affect the development of the tourism industry here."

The head of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Training, Tynychbek Saidov, emphasizes that the innovation is aimed at improving driving culture and the quality of driver training.

In response to the question from MP Bolot Ibraimov about which countries have a practice of long training, Saidov was unable to provide specific examples.

Ibraimov added that, according to his information, there are no countries in the world where training for a license lasts 10-12 months. "Corruption is the main cause of traffic accidents. Previously, people could simply buy licenses, and that was the state's responsibility. Now we are complicating the process of obtaining licenses and forcing people to undergo long training. This is absolutely wrong, and this decision needs to be reconsidered," he noted.
