
According to the new rules of the National Bank, citizens are required to provide information about the origin of their funds.
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 29, Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova expressed dissatisfaction that when exchanging amounts over 100,000 soms, banks and exchange offices require certificates regarding the origin of the funds.
She noted that such requirements may be pointless, considering the salary levels that exist. For example, in the Ministry of Construction, salaries reach 500,000 soms. "What is the purpose of introducing such restrictions? What is their necessity?" the parliamentarian questions.
Kozhokulova suggested that her colleagues discuss the possibility of abolishing these restrictions.
