This morning, the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, conducted a raid in the area where the "Kekeev" restaurant is located. During his visit, he instructed the relevant services to investigate the legality of the use of this land plot, as reported in the municipality's press release.

According to information provided by the Cadastre Service, the plot has a complicated history. In 2008, it was classified as agricultural land, but later its status changed to social, including plans for the construction of a school. In 2010, about 20 hectares of land were allocated for private ownership, which allowed for its sale.

Toktorbaev emphasized that the restaurant is located on a plot that was originally intended for social needs and demanded a thorough assessment of all changes in the land's status.

“If it turns out that the plot was registered with violations or the rules for its transformation were not followed, we will take appropriate measures. Orders have already been issued,” the mayor noted.

Currently, municipal services are conducting an inspection, and official information will be provided after its completion.

It is also worth noting that earlier, the municipal authorities of Bishkek demolished the "Kekeev" café, which was located directly in the riverbed of the Alamedin River.
