According to Dosmambetov, the country still has high mortality rates from oncological diseases, which raises serious concerns.
He also emphasized that the situation where patients are forced to seek treatment abroad is linked to the lack of progress in oncology services and the unwillingness of its leadership to change anything. "This is what leads to high mortality," he added.
The minister noted that he has repeatedly invited Nurbek Bukuev to discuss the issues, but Bukuev claims that there are no problems.
"This indicates that he is either satisfied with the current state of affairs or simply does not wish to see and address the existing problems. His indifference to the system is concerning," the official concluded.
