In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a decision has been made to provide additional payments to bus drivers for the quality of their service. This was announced by Talantbek Kaparov, the director of the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport," at a joint meeting of the factions "Emgek" and "Jany Kuch" in the city council.

As Kaparov explained, the salary of drivers amounts to 56-57 thousand soms, which is determined based on key performance indicators (KPI).

"The basic tariff rate is 102 soms, and we have our own balance each month. For example, on average, drivers work about 165 hours, and we pay this at the tariff rate of 102 soms. Passenger flow, the regularity of route execution, and overtime hours are also taken into account," he added.

Public transport drivers will receive a 20 percent bonus for the quality of passenger service.
