

A supervision session for psychologists and inspectors of the Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation Centers of the State Penitentiary Service took place at Correctional Institution No. 31, according to information from the institution's press service.
The purpose of this event was to improve the professional skills of specialists working with convicted individuals and detainees, as well as staff, which should contribute to enhancing the quality of their interactions and preventing professional burnout.
During the supervision session, participants discussed practical cases, shared experiences, and addressed current issues related to psychological support in the penitentiary system.
Additionally, as part of this event, timed to coincide with the third anniversary of the Psychological Service of the State Penitentiary Service and the summary of results for 2025, the "Best Penitentiary Psychologist" award was presented. This title was awarded to Captain of the Internal Service Eleonora Erkegulova for her high professionalism and significant contribution to the development of the psychological service.
