
The family became a victim of a tragic car accident
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan commented on a recent road accident in the USA that resulted in the deaths of four people, including a Kyrgyz citizen.
The accident occurred on February 3 on State Road 67 in Indiana involving B.B., a citizen of Kyrgyzstan born in 1995.
According to preliminary data, the accident happened when the truck driven by the Kyrgyz citizen collided with a passenger van. As a result of the incident, four people died, and one person was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Currently, state authorities are conducting an investigation, and B.B. is in custody.
The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the USA and the Consulate General in Chicago are monitoring the situation, interacting with the relevant American authorities, as well as with the company where B.B. is employed. Necessary measures are being taken regarding this case,” the ministry reported.
The Ministry expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims of the tragedy and hopes for the speedy recovery of the injured.
It is worth noting that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Bekzhan Beishkeyev, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who is accused of the car accident that led to the deaths of four people. The truck he was driving crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with the van. As a result of the accident, members of one family died: 50-year-old Henry Aiker, 25-year-old Menno Aiker, 19-year-old Paul Aiker, and 23-year-old Simon Jiro.
