Deadly Car Accident in the USA Involving a Kyrgyzstani: Comment from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has reacted to a road incident in the USA that resulted in the death of four people, including a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.

This traffic accident occurred on February 3 on State Road 67 in the state of Indiana. Kyrgyz citizen B.B., born in 1995, was involved in the incident.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the collision between the truck driven by B.B. and a passenger van, four people died, and one injured person was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Currently, the state law enforcement agencies are continuing the investigation, and B.B. is under arrest.

The issue is being handled by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the USA and the Consulate General in Chicago, which are actively cooperating with local authorities, B.B.'s employer, and taking necessary measures in connection with the incident, as stated in the official message.

The Ministry expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased and hopes for the speedy recovery of the injured.

It is worth noting that in the USA, a family was killed as a result of the tragedy: 50-year-old Henry Aiker, 25-year-old Menno Aiker, 19-year-old Paul Aiker, and 23-year-old Simon Jiro.
