In the Uzgen district of the Osh region, the development of a master plan for the rural municipality of Myrza-Ake has been completed. This project was presented for public discussion.

Information about this was provided by Ruslan Talantbek uulu, the head of the Myrza-Ake rural council.

According to him, previously the rural municipality included 9 villages. As a result of the administrative-territorial reform, two rural municipalities were merged, which served as the basis for the proposal to create a master plan submitted to the local council.

“The development of the master plan, which cost 14.5 million soms, was supported by the local council. This plan is long-term and covers the period until 2050. It is based on a project created in 1970, which included sewerage and water supply systems. Plans have been fully developed for each village,” noted Ruslan Talantbek uulu.

Currently, 16,000 people live in the central part of the Myrza-Ake rural municipality, but the master plan takes into account the potential growth of the population to 30,000. The plan includes the development of 9 villages over the next 25 years, considering demographic changes. Proposals for the construction of hospitals, recreation areas, kindergartens, schools, and roads are also included. The project was previously discussed at a meeting of the urban planning council with the participation of leaders and specialists from all relevant institutions in the Uzgen district, and it is now being presented for public hearings,” he added.
