According to him, the current condition of the building leaves much to be desired, as it is in "terrible" condition. The mayor instructed the responsible services to prepare all necessary documents for transferring the facility to the city council's balance, and then to carry out major repairs.
Currently, the tourist base is under the control of the trade union committee. According to available data, the building has not undergone major repairs for nearly four decades, which has led to its dilapidated state and effective abandonment.
Previously, this facility was used as a recreation area for employees of various departments, which included residential buildings, a cafeteria, and auxiliary premises. However, over time, most of the infrastructure fell into disrepair and is no longer used for its intended purpose.
After the transfer to the city balance, a complete renovation of the facility is planned with the aim of turning it into a municipal sanatorium. The city hall emphasizes that in the future it will become another socially oriented institution for the residents of the southern capital.
