Some officials from the local architectural service, responsible for overseeing the development of urban infrastructure, colluded with representatives of the construction sector. As a result of these illegal actions, serious problems arose in Osh: the deadlines for the completion of residential buildings were delayed, dissatisfaction among shareholders increased, and constant traffic jams were observed due to the overloaded street network and lack of parking spaces.
As part of the initiated criminal case, GKNB officers detained the first deputy chief architect of the city of Osh, T.Y.K., and architecture specialist T.Z.M., who were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB. The investigation is ongoing, and special services are actively working to identify other individuals involved in corrupt crimes in the region's construction industry.
