Svintsov noted that technically such a measure is possible, but much will depend on the actions of the company itself. He added that Roskomnadzor may wait for Google to return to the market in order to collect the debt related to the blocking of Russian TV channels on the YouTube platform.
The debt amounts to 91.5 quintillion rubles, which has been established by Russian court rulings for failing to comply with the requirements to restore the accounts of these TV channels.
For reference, a quintillion is a number that follows 1 with 18 zeros.
It was previously reported that the amount of debt is increasing daily due to rising fines for non-compliance with court rulings. At the same time, the Russian division of Google has been declared bankrupt, and part of its assets in the country is under arrest.
Recall that after the start of the conflict in Ukraine, Google limited its operations in Russia, and YouTube blocked several state and pro-government channels.
