The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced a project aimed at harmonizing educational programs and involving specialized agencies in the Kyrgyz direction.
During the "government hour" in the State Duma, Sergey Lavrov discussed issues of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of education.
In response to a question from Alena Arshinova, Chair of the Council of the ANO "Eurasia," about the possibility of creating a unified educational space, the minister emphasized that education standards are part of national sovereignty and require a delicate approach.
Lavrov reported that a project initiated by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, is currently being implemented, aimed at aligning school and university educational programs. He noted that the successful implementation of this project could serve as an example for other CIS countries.
Additionally, the minister pointed to the involvement of the ANO "Eurasia" in this process, under the coordination of the Ministry of Education of Russia. He assured that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to actively support educational initiatives, including projects related to the promotion of the Russian language and international cooperation.
Alena Arshinova, for her part, thanked the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its support in implementing projects, including humanitarian initiatives and cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
