Incidence of ARVI and Influenza in Kyrgyzstan is Decreasing

From February 9 to 15 of this year, 10,576 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by 24.kg citing the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

Experts note that compared to the previous week, the number of sick individuals has decreased by 14.7 percent.

Children under 14 years old account for 70 percent of the total number of patients.

Epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.

Medical professionals strongly recommend that the population adhere to preventive measures, avoid crowds, and refrain from self-medication, and if necessary, seek care at local clinics.
