From January 19 to 25, Kyrgyzstan registered 14,607 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza. This was reported by 24.kg, citing data from the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

Specialists noted that compared to the previous week, the number of sick individuals decreased by 7.9 percent.

Children under 14 years old make up 72.4 percent of the total number of cases.
Medical workers continue to monitor severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.

Doctors strongly recommend that the population adhere to preventive measures, avoid crowded places, and refrain from self-medication, instead seeking medical attention at clinics at the first signs of illness.
