Flu and ARVI in Kyrgyzstan. The number of cases is rising again

In Kyrgyzstan, there is an increase in cases of influenza and ARVI, as reported by the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the latest data, in the third week of 2026 (from January 12 to 18), the number of registered cases amounted to 15,869. This indicates an increase compared to the previous week.

Previously, there was information about a decrease in morbidity.

Among the sick, 76.7% are children under 14 years old, which corresponds to 12,167 cases. Hospitalization was required for 17.4% of the patients, which amounts to 2,759 cases.

Epidemiological surveillance for severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
