In the fourth week of 2026, from January 19 to 25, the country registered 14,607 cases of ARVI and influenza. According to the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, the incidence rate was 199.1 per 100,000 residents. This is 7.9% lower than the previous week, when this figure was 216.3.
Children under 14 years old make up the majority of the cases, accounting for 72.4% of the total number of cases. Active epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
Recommendations for the prevention of ARVI and influenza: Doctors advise adhering to the following preventive measures:
- Wash hands regularly;
- Ventilate rooms more often;
- Avoid contact with sick individuals;
- Wear a mask in crowded places;
- Maintain a regular sleep schedule and a balanced diet;
- Get vaccinated against influenza.
