In Kyrgyzstan, 15,869 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week

From January 12 to 18, Kyrgyzstan recorded 15,869 cases of ARVI and influenza, which is 28.8% more compared to the previous week, according to the data from the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department.

According to epidemiologists, the situation remains under control and stable.

Of the total number of cases, 76.7% are children under 14 years old, which is equivalent to 12,167 cases. Hospitals have admitted 17.4% of the total number of cases, amounting to 2,759 cases.

In the cities of Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok, monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) continues.
