The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed the Erasmus+ program with a delegation from the European Parliament.

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, attended by Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and the First Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations Gulnur Mamyrova. They discussed issues related to the Erasmus+ program with a delegation from the European Parliament led by Giuseppina Princi.


During the discussion, emphasis was placed on the opportunities for cooperation in the field of science and education, as well as on the next steps for the implementation of the Erasmus+ program.

Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva highlighted the importance of the support provided by European partners. Currently, the ministry is implementing a budget support project from the European Union called "Contract for the Reform of the Education Sector in Kyrgyzstan."

This project aims at a comprehensive renewal of the country's educational system, including sustainable financing, digitalization of educational processes, and the creation of an inclusive educational environment, incorporating advanced European experience within the framework of the Twinning project.
