“When a driver, say, from Ivanovka or Kara-Balta arrives in Bishkek, he leaves his car at the market or in the city center. We need to create conditions so that he can park in the area of the old bus stations and then move around the city using public transport,” the council participants expressed their views.
The mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, emphasized that the main goal of the municipality's work is to create a comfortable urban environment. As part of this strategy, it is planned to improve conditions for pedestrians and increase the number of people using public transport.
