
As part of the event, the city administration announced the creation of a road council, which will serve as a platform for interaction between experts, citizens, government bodies, and relevant organizations to develop comprehensive solutions.
Opening the meeting, Aibek Junushaliev, the mayor of Bishkek, expressed gratitude to the participants for their initiative and readiness for constructive dialogue. He noted that the problem of congestion can only be solved through joint efforts. Among the key tasks of the city administration are the modernization of road infrastructure, the implementation of modern traffic light regulation systems, and other measures within the municipality's competence. It is also planned to hold such meetings regularly.
During the analytical session and panel discussion, a whole range of comprehensive measures to reduce congestion were proposed. Ideas were voiced by representatives of public organizations, bloggers, transport companies, and independent experts.
Active citizens were also awarded during the event. Letters of appreciation were given to Mirlan Zhukeev for his help in snow removal and Rashid Brown for supporting the information activities of the city administration.
The discussion was attended by the deputy chairman of the Bishkek city council, Zhyldyzbek Abdraymov, the head of the Public Security Management of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs Department, Borborbek Tashmatov, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh and the city council, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, law enforcement agencies, construction companies, media, bloggers, and active citizens.
