According to the information from the mayor of the capital, Aybek Junushaliev, the company was previously given time to dismantle the structure on their own, but no actions were taken on their part.
The city head emphasized: "If the company does not remove the dismantled elements by the end of today, they will be moved to the impound lot of the Land Use Control Department."
Additionally, the mayor instructed the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and Architecture to develop a new project for the fountain structure. The task is to modernize the object and present an updated sketch for its restoration as soon as possible.
The dismantling work is being carried out by employees of the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" in conjunction with the Land Use Control Department. City service leaders were instructed to ensure the safety of employees during the execution of this work.
It is worth noting that on February 19, 2026, Mayor Aybek Junushaliev, along with members of the urban planning council, inspected construction work on Chuy Avenue and set the task: if the company does not begin dismantling within three days, city services will be involved in carrying out the work.
