The city head noted that the object being constructed next to the Central Department Store "Ay-Churek" does not comply with the approved project and urban planning standards. During the inspection, he stated: "We insist on the demolition of all structures and the restoration of the original state of the green and fountain area. The aesthetics of our city and public spaces must be protected."

According to the mayor, it is impossible to implement the project presented by the developer without harming the fountain area. He also added that the mayor's office had previously sent an official letter to the Ministry of Construction requesting a review of the legality of the Old Bishkek project and its compliance with the approved documentation.
Despite the meetings held and the remarks made, construction continued. In light of this, the mayor ordered a temporary halt to the construction of the second-floor roof and provided the developer with three days for the independent demolition of the disputed structures.
If the demolition does not begin within three days, the land use control department will carry it out forcibly, and all expenses will fall on the company.

The mayor also emphasized that the fountain and the adjacent green area must be preserved in their original form, and any changes in the city center are only possible with strict adherence to sketch solutions and the interests of residents.
