Their acquaintance took place in 1986 in Frunze.
The couple has been together for 36 years, and they have two children and three grandchildren.
Elmira was born on March 16, 1966, in the village of Barskoon in the Jetiguuz district of the Issyk-Kul region, while Turgunbek was born in the same year in the village of Manas in the Talas region.
“Our first meeting happened at TSUM, where I saw a tall, dark-haired guy. There were willows around, creating a beautiful shade, and young people often gathered there. He had just returned from the army, and a mutual affection arose between us. We dated for five years, studied and worked in Frunze, and at 25, we decided to start a family. In 1992, we had a daughter, and in 2004, a son. Our daughter is already married and raising three children, while our son is studying and working in America,” Elmira shared.
According to her, together with her husband, they acquired a farm in the Sokuluk district, where they are engaged in improving the breed of dairy cows.
“I am happy that I married an understanding and beloved person. Over these 36 years, we have experienced many moments, and although there were difficulties, we always overcame them together. Our love and harmony turned out to be stronger than any trials,” she noted.
“To the youth, I would advise: study, work hard, and strive for true love. If spouses sincerely love each other, they will always support each other in difficult times,” Elmira added.
Turgunbek and Elmira worked in different fields, but eventually decided to start their own business and engage in breeding purebred dairy cows. They have many plans for the future, but their main desire now is for their son to return from America, meet his love, and marry a good girl.
“We would like to hold a big wedding in honor of welcoming the bride into the family,” Elmira concluded.
