In the Ton district, in the village of Kara-Talaa, a culling of jackals was carried out.

Local residents reported that due to the increase in the jackal population in the territory of the rural area and considering the appeals from citizens, necessary measures were taken. The elimination of predators became essential as they posed a threat to the safety of children and livestock.

According to the resolution of the government of Kyrgyzstan, monetary compensations are provided for the culling of predatory animals: 6,000 soms for one wolf, 1,500 soms for a wolf pup, and 2,000 soms for a jackal.

After the complete submission of documents, hunters receive rewards in their accounts amounting to 4,800 soms for a wolf, 1,600 soms for a jackal, and 1,200 soms for a wolf pup, with taxes and contributions to the Social Fund deducted.
