As of the end of 2025, there are 15,278 electric vehicles registered in Kyrgyzstan

According to information provided by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan, as of the end of 2025, there are 15,278 registered electric vehicles in the country, which is equivalent to 0.8% of the total vehicle fleet.

In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the number of electric vehicles. For instance, in 2022, 1,113 electric vehicles were registered in the republic, in 2023 — 2,310, and in 2024 — 3,122.

By 2025, the number of electric vehicles increased to 9,870, highlighting the growing interest in eco-friendly transportation.

Additionally, over 100 electric charging stations have been installed in Bishkek, significantly contributing to the development of the necessary infrastructure for electric vehicles and facilitating their spread.
