In the Ala-Archa State Natural Park, around 14:30 on the second day of the cable car's operation, there was a temporary stop for 30 minutes, which raised questions from visitors.

Representatives of the cable car noted that despite the strong wind, it was decided to operate the lift at the minimum allowable speed due to the large number of people wanting to ride. "People were waiting in line; we warned about the wind and activated signals. However, the number of complaints increased. Therefore, we operated the cable car at the minimum speed of 3.5 kilometers per hour," the park reported.

When the wind became stronger, the safety system was triggered, and the lift's movement was automatically suspended.

A service engineer from Doppelmayr, the company responsible for the construction of the cable car, added that in strong winds, the warning and speed limitation systems are activated.

"After the stop, we checked the sensors and then brought people down at a limited speed. This is standard procedure. No technical malfunctions were recorded," the engineer emphasized.

Park staff informed visitors about the situation and rules of conduct via loudspeakers. "Most complaints came from those who were in line. People in the cabins reacted calmly and with understanding," the park added.

After the wind calmed down, the cable car resumed normal operation. The park also announced plans to place warning signs inside the cabins and in the waiting area, as well as in the hall and at the exit from the cable car, to inform about safety rules and possible situations when the lift cannot operate.
