Minister of Transport and Communications Talantbek Soltobaev arrived on a working visit to the Issyk-Kul region on February 21. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During his visit, the minister reviewed the progress of the reconstruction of the Balykchy — Bokonbaev — Karakol highway, paying attention to the sections from 87 to 140 km, as well as the work on bridge structures.
In addition, Talantbek Soltobaev visited the construction site of the bypass road in Cholpon-Ata, where the expansion of the roadway is currently ongoing.
Following the inspection, the minister instructed to increase the pace of construction work with the onset of the season and to ensure their quality and timely completion.
