In Bishkek, activities to control payment for public transport rides are ongoing. The Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, together with the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" and "Tulpar," are conducting raids, as reported by the city hall.
During these checks, control is exercised over the compliance of passengers with the rules of payment for rides and the receipt of tickets when paying in cash.
According to the city hall, raids are conducted daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on average, about ten administrative protocols are drawn up per day. A fine of 1,000 soms is imposed for failure to pay for the ride. Authorities strongly urge citizens to make payments on time, adhere to boarding and alighting rules, and obtain a ticket when paying in cash.
