Citizens living in high-risk areas in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region are preparing for forced relocation. In the coming days, court bailiffs will begin the process of evicting six families for whom corresponding court decisions have already been made. This was reported by Chynarbek Shekenov, head of the Emergency Situations Ministry for the Jalal-Abad region.

According to Chynarbek Shekenov, this measure is forced and aimed at protecting citizens, preventing emergencies, and reducing risks in areas prone to natural disasters. "With the onset of spring, there has been an increase in dangerous natural processes, such as rockfalls and landslides. Therefore, our regional emergency services are operating in an enhanced mode to ensure the safety of the population and are conducting extensive preventive measures," he noted.

As part of the preventive measures, the emergency services have taken the following actions:

- 648 families living in hazardous areas have been handed official notifications and orders regarding the necessity of relocation.

- More than 100 cases against households ignoring safety requirements have been prepared by local authorities and submitted to the judicial authorities.

- Court proceedings have been completed for 6 families, the decisions have come into effect, and enforcement has been initiated.

The issue of living in areas susceptible to possible natural disasters remains acute for the region. According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, there are currently 1,009 families living in hazardous zones in the Jalal-Abad region, and work on their phased relocation to safe areas continues.
