Toktobubu Chungulova and her husband Bolotbek Dootaliev went to Dubai on a tourist package.

In a conversation with Turmush, the woman reported that they have been unable to return home for the fourth day.

Chungulova, who has a second-degree disability and a stent in her heart, noted: “The situation has become extremely tense, and it is affecting my health — my blood pressure is rising. It is very difficult to be in such a state, especially for people with disabilities and mothers with children, who should be given priority for departure.”

According to her, although flights to Kyrgyzstan have started, the number of passengers is still limited. “We were issued tickets only for March 6, even though our tour ended on February 28. Since then, we have been unable to leave the country due to military conflicts. When I start to get anxious, I take sedatives,” she added.

The Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Seytek Jumakadyrov, previously mentioned at a press conference that as of March 2, about 22,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are in the Persian Gulf countries.

Among them are many people in the UAE (about 10,000) and in Saudi Arabia (6,000). “In the current tense situation, the ministry is actively working to protect the rights of Kyrgyz citizens in these countries and is taking necessary measures. Countries such as Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, as well as Israel and Iran, are being included,” he emphasized.

At the moment, there are no reports of injured or homeless Kyrgyz citizens. All citizens are receiving support from the consulates. There are particularly many requests for help coming from Dubai, where a large number of tourists are concentrated.

The war between the USA and Israel against Iran began on February 28. Earlier, Washington and Tehran were negotiating over Iran's nuclear program, insisting on Iran's abandonment of nuclear weapons development. The third round of negotiations took place in Geneva on February 26.
