This initiative arose due to requests from tour operators operating in the outbound tourism sector, as well as inquiries from citizens themselves and information from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK).
A special hotline has been established where citizens can receive consultations and assistance. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic also has a hotline for providing consular support and clarifying the current situation.
“We are currently developing an evacuation plan for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in cooperation with the competent authorities of Kazakhstan, utilizing transit opportunities through Saudi Arabia. Consultations are ongoing between agencies, and logistical details are being clarified,” the department noted.
